It was over a decade ago that I was sharing my Inner Theater approach to EFT with three dear friends and EFT colleagues, Carna Zacharias-Miller, Lynne Shaner, and Jade Barbee. Carna loves imagery and story and had developed her own Magical EFT method. Lynne also loves imagery and used it in her EFT work, eventually adding hypnotherapy training. As for Jade, Inner Theater was such a perfect fit that Jade and I began working together to develop it further. Thanks to Jade’s website skills, an original Inner Theater website was launched and some of these stories were published there. And then came a detour, yet it was an important and meaningful one.

At the end of 2009, EFT founder Gary Craig retired and released EFT to the world. Many of us in the US then became aligned with the UK-based organization EFT International (formerly AAMET) for our credentials and professional status. Especially for Jade and myself, our focus became EFT training. Not only did we offer trainings as EFTi Master Trainers of Trainers, in addition both of us served on the EFTi Training Board (now TAC) for over a decade. We are very honored to have contributed greatly to the EFTi training materials that are in use to this day. We both served in a number of other roles as well and, in this way, have helped sustain one of the world’s foremost EFT organizations. I know we appreciate EFT International for all it gave us, and for the opportunity to give back during our extensive involvement with EFTi.

I love to think of life in terms of circles and spirals rather than the straight line of a linear perspective. All those years, I never stopped incorporating an Inner Theater approach in my sessions with with EFT. And now I’m circling around to develop my Inner Theater work more fully, excited to share this with anyone who could benefit from what I offer.

I wish to express my heartfelt appreciation for Carna, Lynne, and Jade. What a journey we have been on, my friends, being involved with EFT almost from the beginning. Each of us went on to share our gifts with the world in different ways.

  • Carna developed an EFT specialty called Missing Mother and her sensitive work has helped so many people with their inner child healing.
  • Lynne has become an acclaimed author! She recently published a wonderful, magical fantasy novel, Journey To Everland Bay  — talk about imagery!
  • Jade became a true leader in the EFT world, training and certifying countless EFTi Practitioners and Advanced Practitioners and even a number of EFT Master Trainers. And anyone lucky enough to work with Jade in private sessions has appreciated the transformative healing power of his work.

Such profound connections came from our EFT sharing and colleagueship. EFT has a way of connecting people deeply. I’m excited about my next chapter and look forward to seeing where my Inner Theater journeys take me and others. Be sure and read the beautiful Inner Theater Stories from Jade, Carna and Lynne that are a part of this collection.Betty with EFT colleagues Jade, Carna, and Lynne
